n High-speed Internet Access

   ‧Due to simplicity and cost effectiveness, Gigabit Ethernet technology is realized on the links between CO (central office) and customer

       premises by deployment of Gigabit Ethernet switches, SP6524F and SP1684B.

   ‧SP6524F is quipped with 16 SFP slots for fiber modules that are used to connect SP1684B, equipped with 4 SFP slots, via fiber optics wiring.

Long-reach Ethernet with Redundancy

   ‧SP6524F is deployed at the edge of CO network and each SP1684B is located at customer premise sites. They form a Gigabit fiber ring that is

       able to cover great range and bring Gigabit access to the buildings or communities.

   ‧SP6524F and SP1684B support IEEE 802.1d STP and IEEE 802.1w Rapid STP protocols to enable fallback operation in order to implement

      network redundancy when the ring fails.

n Easier network management with more security

   ‧SP6524F and SP1684A support IEEE 802.1q-in-q nested VLAN that expands VLAN number from 4096 to 40962. The protocol helps service

       providers to add a hierarchical view within their IP network and offers enough VLANs.

   ‧Each of 256 VLANs is identified by a tag that represents the logical partition to serve different services or different customers over the shared

       Ethernet infrastructure.

   ‧Each logical-partitioned VLAN provides a private tunnel with better security to subscriber.

 Long-reach solution with cost-effectiveness

   ‧Micronet VDSL solution, SP3508A and SP3501AS, operates over the telephone-grade lines that cost much less than fiber optics cabling and

       can reach up to 1.7km.

   ‧The VDSL links between SP3508A and SP3501AS extend for the last mile of fiber-to-the-building/cabinet and provide subscribers with

       symmetric bandwidth 5/15/25 Mbps depending on the distance 1.7/1.1/0.6km.
